I know this is a strange request, but I wanted to reach out to ask your permission to include some of your words in a show I am currently working on that explores creativity and ageing.

Whilst filming with one of my subjects ( 92 Year old dancer Elizabeth Cameron Dalmain) we both connected over our shared love for your work and artistry, and over dinner she rushed to find her diary where she had written down an excerpt from your piece for the Australia Institute. Over her dining table she then read your words to me as a provocation.

I was so moved that I pitched to her that I could record her reading it, and I found it so moving that I wanted to ask for your permission to include it within my work.
